The romantic park of Jussy labeled Remarkable Garden and Secret Garden was designed and executed, between 1830 and 1850, from the project of Paul de Lavennes, Count of Choulot, great landscape designer, author of more than 300 parks in France and abroad. foreign.

Replacing the 17th century park, the romantic "agrarian and landscape" park of Jussy was designed and executed, between 1830 and 1850, from the project of Paul de Lavennes, count of Choulot, great landscape architect, author of more than 300 parks in France and abroad. The original drawing is kept on site. Carefully restored, the park and gardens of Jussy have been listed as Historic Monuments since 2015. Its lazily intertwining romantic alleys, its lawns dotted with groves, its grand canal and its flow lined with hundred-year-old trees will enchant the visitor., In the heart of Berry, this remarkable 17th century building, of bricks with stone corners, surrounded , was built between 1590 and 1650 by the Gamaches family, a Picardy family from the royal entourage, who settled in Berry through the marriage of Jehan de Gamaches, captain of the Francs Archers du Berry, then chamberlain of King Charles VII with the daughter of the Comte de Blet, whose domain it was. The large dwelling, at the back of the courtyard, was built under Henri IV and Louis XIII. The arcades, on either side of the courtyard, are the work of the Berry architect Jean Lejuge, author of those of the Hôtel des Échevins de Bourges. Originally closed, the courtyard was opened in the 18th century by the ancestors of the current owner at the same time as they restored and modernized the interior decor of the castle.
