The 18 February 2024

Bourges

Unmissable, it is part of local history, it has existed for more than 70 years and it's not over! National in scope, its number of participants continues to increase. Every year, the departure takes place around midnight in front of Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Bourges.

For the bravest

Bourges-Sancerre®, 56 km long with a total elevation gain of more than 700 m, is the flagship event. You walk the country roads in the dark to arrive at the Mignonne cellars in Sancerre in the early afternoon. On your way you will find numerous refreshment points: what could be better than a little snack break before hitting the road again? Equipped with a logbook, you will be able to see your progress in this event, by having it stamped at each refreshment point. Some variations of this hike have been created for the less adventurous.

The variants

Morogues-Sancerre

This intermediate level hike leaves from the Morogues village hall between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. This route of approximately 29 km allows you to catch up with the large Bourges-Sancerre® loop for a stroll in the heart of the Berry landscape.

The Little Sancerroise

For the more timid, the Petite Sancerroise and its 16 km will satisfy you. But be careful, it is not as easy as it seems! In fact, the route remains quite hilly and winding. Join this route for a discovery of the Mignonne cellars. Departure is around 8 a.m. from F. Leca college in Sancerre.
