Despite recent restoration, the church does not have the majesty of the collegiate church of Mehun on which it depended, especially as a modern porch weighs down its silhouette. This lack of character on the outside is compensated by the jewels it conceals, an XNUMXth century baptismal font, and the frescoes.

Despite recent restoration, the church does not have the majesty of the collegiate church of Mehun on which it depended, especially as a modern porch weighs down its silhouette. This lack of character on the outside is compensated by the jewels it conceals: an 1160th century baptismal font, but above all the frescoes on the diaphragm wall, executed around 1974 and restored in XNUMX. Comparable to that of Avord, the set of 'Allouis has four main compartments. In the lower register, one shows a Virgin in Majesty to the right of the arch, and to the left the Crucifixion.
