The Sensitive Natural Area: "Les Garettes"

This 27-hectare site, located north of Bourges, is home to a great diversity of animals and plants, some of which enjoy protected or rare status.

This 27-hectare site, located north of Bourges, near the Jacques Rimbault stadium, Asnières-lès-Bourges, formerly dedicated to agriculture, is no longer exploited today with the exception of a part grazed by horses. This site is home to a great diversity of animals and plants, some of which enjoy protected or rare status, such as milkwort (a small purple flower that does not grow anywhere else in the Cher). There are also protected species, orchids, birds, insects, butterflies, deer and wild rabbits.
