The Totem

Presentation of the Digan Grés & Stedman collections, and collaboration with local and international artists.

The Totem Museum presents the collections of Janet Stedman and Pierre Digan / Digan Grès, two key players in the 1960s and 1980s in La Borne. Their collection traces a major part of the history of the village of La Borne. It is also a question of paying homage to their career, their life and their influence in this art of ceramics. A series of temporary exhibitions is organized each year. Each will present a multidisciplinary selection aiming to cross practices around themes questioning our current society. The works of international artists will then come to dialogue with local creation and push back the borders
