The Box Gallery

La Box is the contemporary art gallery of the École nationale supérieure d'art de Bourges. Every year, since 1990, it has organized around ten exhibitions or artistic events, it invites 4 to 8 artists in residence and it produces editions and works.

La Box is the contemporary art gallery of the École nationale supérieure d'art de Bourges. Every year, since 1990, it has organized around ten exhibitions or artistic events, it invites 4 to 8 artists in residence and it produces editions and works. It is managed by a commission made up of teachers and student volunteers, as well as the management of ENSA and the manager of La Box. It is a professional field for ENSA students who choose to get involved in the selection committee for artists and projects, in scenography, technical or multimedia management and of course in reception and mediation, while developing their critical outlook and skills.
