Nicole Crestou

In his 5th workshop, N. Crestou essentially creates sculptures modeled from plates or turned and deformed elements. Stoneware or porcelain are fired in wood, gas or electric kilns.

Current creations are figurative sculptures, sometimes staged in installations, animal sculptures or sculptures inspired by vegetation. Some pieces are covered with colored enamels, most are intended for the garden. Without looking for resemblance, the animals come under a free expression close to singular art. N. Crestou has followed several training courses with J. Stedman, Y. Mohy, Mme Lerat, H. Klug, L. Delisle at the University of Paris I…
