Come and enjoy the Canal de Berry by bike, boat or on foot. This canal has the particularity of being three canals in one, since it is made up of three distinct branches which meet at Bannegon.

It connects the following towns in the departments of Allier, Cher and Loir-et-Cher: Montluçon, Vallon-en-Sully, Saint-Amand-Montrond, Charenton-du-Cher, Sancoins, Marseilles-lès-Aubigny , Dun-sur-Auron, Bourges, Mehun-sur-Yèvre, Vierzon and Noyers-sur-Cher. Its slope of 245 meters, for a total length of 320 kilometres, required the installation of 115 locks, or one every three kilometres.
