Although Claire Linard has ceramics as a heritage, she trained in turning at the CNIFOP. She chooses to continue the family techniques: generous turning of utilitarian pieces, ash-based enamels and wood firing.

Certain objects, both functional and decorative, are deformed, sometimes enriched with animal models such as finials or basins. Bowls, salad bowls or pitchers, often monochrome, are enamelled with creamy enamels, sometimes enhanced with a spontaneous decoration applied with a brush, or accommodate the materials deposited by cooking with wood. Claire builds her personal universe while affirming an expression rooted in tradition.
