The Sensitive Natural Area: “Coteau de Coillard”

The hillside of Coillard with an area of ​​approximately 11 hectares includes a limestone hillside, a pond, a pond and a “Nature area”.

Located at the gates of Bourges, this site presents three typical landscapes: a limestone hillside, a municipal lake and a nature area. It is also composed of covered trees and relict dry lawns where you can find various species of orchids. Property of the Commune of Saint Georges sur Moulon, this site was the subject of an ecological valuation in 2001. One can note the presence of a zone of grove with Junipers.
