Sensitive Natural Area: "Chaumes du Patouillet"

Located on the right bank of the Cher, in the middle of a large cultivated area, the Patouillet site is mainly made up of calcareous grass.

This lawn is the domain of a rich flora, with southern and mountainous affinities, but also of quantities of insects and birds. A discovery trail (1,5 km) is present on the site, it is marked out by 6 information terminals. Les Chaumes du Patouillet is partially classified by a prefectural biotope protection decree.
