Rachid Djabela

Rachid passed a CAP as a turner in 1990. He became an itinerant turner before setting up as an independent potter. Turner above all, for the indefinable pleasure of centering the earth on the wrasse and accompanying it without dominating it.

Exert balanced pressure so that it rises around the interior space. The feeling of feeling the clay between the fingers is fabulous. To tell the truth, words are sometimes weak to express feelings. So Rachid puts his hands in it. It produces a warm glazed earth for many years. With humor he always describes it as “Berberrichonne” pottery. Recently a search for high temperature is set up, but its heart pitches without deciding.
