A weekend rich in entertainment and diversity
Saturday
The first day of the festival starts off in style with the fishing competition on the banks of the Yèvre. You can then meet at the Port aux Échalotes for eco-walks in a boat as well as for an aperitif evening in the atmosphere of "Seventies acoustic music" with the group Spoutnik & los Covidos in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Nature lovers can enjoy pony rides, an ideal opportunity for young and old to discover the marshes in a different and fun way.
Sunday
The second day is dedicated, among other things, to the local farmers' market. Let yourself be seduced by the variety of vegetables, fruits, flowers and honey from the marshes, from the talents of market gardeners. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a guided walking tour, immersing yourself in the history and evolution of the marshes, as well as a thematic tour led by Frédéric Thélinge, focusing on the plants used in local basketry and a visit marsh free “basketry workshop of the four seasons”.
There will be no shortage of activities and there will be something for everyone: eco-tours in a boat with the possibility of being filmed by drone for a unique perspective, hip-hop performances by the Eighteen Crew, and stilt-walking with Juju on stilts, will bring an artistic and whimsical touch to the event.
The youngest are not left out, with the pirate island and its inflatable structure which promise hours of entertainment and adventure.
Gastronomy will also be in the spotlight, with local-themed food and drink options at L'Échalote.
Contest and raffle
For lovers of creativity, the "funny" contest offers to stage scarecrows and decorated wheelbarrows, adding a playful and colorful touch to the party. And to top it off, a super raffle will give you the chance to win exceptional prizes, such as a flight over Bourges and the Marais by plane or even a meal at the restaurant.
How to come to the party?
The Marais de Bourges are a 15-minute walk from the city center. If you choose to arrive by car, several car parks are available in the immediate vicinity. If necessary, do not hesitate to visit us at the Tourist Office to obtain a detailed plan of the city and the Marais.
